Tuoba Hong

Wei's emperor who drown himself in Buddhist and pointed Prince of Regent for doing court's affairs on his behalf.  He's calm and very cautious in everything.

Feng Ting

Empress Dowager of Wei, wife of Tuoba Hong and biological sister of Rong Zhi. She's heartless and scheming person. She'll do everything to keep her powerful in the palace. Her influences is strong in Wei's Dynasti.

Grand Consort Qi

Biological mother of Tuoba Yun, royal mother of Tuoba Hong, and rival of Feng Ting. She's sly and arrogant due to her high status. She cares her son position for the throne as well.

Tuoba Yun

Known as Prince Kang, sage prince on the outside yet cruel and evil from the inside. He has high ambitions to become Wei's emperor and do everything to aims it. He's rival with Rong Zhi both for power and love regarding Huo Xuan.

Huo Xuan

Commander of Huo army, the most powerful millitary in Wei. She's calm, boyish and bold person. She has strong influence in emperor eyes. Close friend of Rong Zhi and had a crush on him. She stated to be the only woman who'll stand by his side until the end, although he've been married with many other women.

Le Yun

Has face which look alike Huo Xuan. She's only street performer at first, then become Tuoba Yun's concubine after their meeting in the city. She's sly and arrogant inside, but vice versa infront of Tuoba Yun.

Ma Zhongliang

Prime minister of Wei. He has great influence in Wei's court affairs due to his neutral judgement. He's very cautious and ambitious person in matter of power. He even using his only daughter to gain it.

Ma Xue Yun 

The most beautiful woman in Wei and the only daughter of Ma Zhongliang. She's madly in love with Rong Zhi and will do everything to gain Rong Zhi's affection. She's sly, but pretend to be innocent infront of Rong Zhi. She has weak body and tend to sick easily.

Gu Huan

Works together with Tianji Tower in getting power to the throne. He's a skilled doctor, also great master mind. He's very composed and pretend to cares for Huo Xuan. Later, he fall in love with her.

Tuoba Yu 

Tuoba Hong's son and doted by Feng Ting. He's innocent on the outside but scheming inside. He's blaming Song's Princess for abusing his personal maid, but actually he has planned it all along.

Shen Yu

Rong Zhi's personal bodyguard and a general in Wei. He's very kind and skilled swordman. Claimed to be in love with Lan Ruo due to his past regret, but later take interest on Qing Yue.

Lan Ruo

Head of Princess Consort's personal maid. She's ex-fiancee of Shen Yu, but later married with his friend. She cares for Chuyu very much and loves to see Chuyu and Rong Zhi affections for each other. 

Qing Yue

Chuyu's personal maid and bodyguard. She's hot temperament and loves to eat. She cares Chuyu very much and willing to protect her with her own ways. She's pretty fast and skilled in combat. She's bickering couple with Shen Yu.

Wang Ze

Liutenant general of Huo army and fellow battle of Huo Xuan. He's loyal to her. Later, he's showing interest on Qing Yue by buying or bringing foods for her.
